My art delves deeply into the human body, skillfully exploring the coexistence of its natural beauty and the disquieting elements that can be unsettling.
I explore the internal connections and conditions that influence external factors, challenging conventional notions of beauty and rejecting superficial appearances.
At the core of my work lies the concept of ‘self’- the persona we project to the world and our physical embodiment.
Exposing raw materials such as foam, rubber tubing, and fabric represent different components of the inner body system.
I use the human body as a metaphor to courageously confront aspects of existence often avoided, raising awareness and gently prodding viewers to confront life’s discomforts.
This approach emphasizes highlighting the interior presence rather than obsessing on the exterior, which merely conceals the essence.
